Liberal Party relaunched in Waltham Forest
Wednesday 22 June saw the re-launch of the Liberal Party in Waltham Forest. Waltham Forest Liberal Party Coordinator Sir Henry Boyle said:“Waltham Forest is crying out for some radical reforms of its own. Successive Tory, Labour and Liberal Democrat administrations have all failed to make our Borough the bright, vibrant, and economically sound place that local residents crave. We need new thinking, fresh ideas and positive actions – and, most importantly, we must involve every section of our community to plan real future benefits for all.” Liberal Party member and former High Street Councillor James O’Rourke said:“Whilst some ex-Liberal Democrats are defecting to a discredited and stagnant Labour Party, I’m sticking to my Liberal principles. A resurgent Liberal Party represents the best hope for true liberal reform, both in Waltham Forest and nationally.”
