National Executive, 2009-2010 The bi-annual elections for the Liberal Party’s National Executive Committee have recently taken place. There was one nomination for Party President, Rob Wheway, who was therefore returned unopposed. There were 14 candidates for the 15 vacant positions on the NEC. This leaves one vacancy for the NEC to consider at it’s first meeting on 14th February. This meeting will also appoint a Chairman and Treasurer to serve for the coming year.
